Halloween is a fun holiday for decorating, costumes, parties and culminates with children filling the streets for "Tricks-or-Treats". The origins go back in time when villagers believed that the spirits of their loved ones would rise out of their graves. The villagers would try to appease these spirits with gifts of fruit and nuts. They also tried to blend in with these spirits by wearing masks and other disguises just to protect themselves from unwelcome spirits.
